INTRODUCTION TO THE CAPITAL ISLAND OF RAROTONGA
This is an introduction to the Cook Islands and its capital island of Rarotonga.  It's set to the Welcome Song from Te Arekarioi Nui, performed by the Cook Islands National Arts Theatre. The video was shot in the early part of 2006 and is just over 4 minutes 10 seconds long.

Stunningly beautiful AITUTAKI was the location for the US reality TV series "Survivor Cook Islands" and the UK's own version, "Shipwrecked".   Aitutaki is the most visited island after Rarotonga.   And it's crystal clear, turquoise blue lagoon has to be seen to be believed.  Click here to watch that video.

Scientists say MANGAIA is at least 18 million years old, and evidence of that great age is everywhere in the rocky landscape.  It's not beautiful in the usual sense of a tropical island, but it has greate beauty.  Click here to watch the video
